Unbelievable, I saw this thread the other day when there were only a couple of posts, but its now hit the 5th page! All because some careless doofus broke his toy and expects the manufacturer to replace it for him.
It just goes to show that the squeakiest wheel will always attract the most grease.
To the OP, a whole bunch of people that are far better than you have given you the best moral advice hear but you've failed to listen because your an immature and selfish person. A supplier gives out free replacements when they figure that there is some chance that they may be at some point responsible for the loss. In this case as it is acknowledged by your words that this is not the case. All you are doing is showing contempt of the system of goodwill, someone trying to milk the big guy for all his worth. That is not a very moral path to take.
I think you should grow up and learn to take some responsibility for your own actions, instead of blaming the rest of the world for failures. You need to grow a spine, move on and go buy yourself another toy to replace the one that YOU carelessly broke YOURSELF. If you can't afford to buy another one straight away then you can play with the one you fixed until you save up the money so that you can.
Everyone else should move on too, the more we fuel this guy the longer his pathetic flame shall burn.
I think that's enough internet for you, big guy. I hope your vitriolic hyperbole was sufficiently cathartic. Maybe take up fishing?
I haven't taken advantage of any good will, I've asked for feedback on a suggestion to write a letter fully disclosing what's happened. That this has caused you so much angst and fury I can only imagine relates to your sensitivity to references to the short bus.
For what it's worth, as soon as I get home tonight, I'm going to write ffg letter, only because you've reacted like such a petulant troglodyte. I'll be sure to update this thread just for you with pictures of the replacement they send me.
Thanks for keeping this thread interesting!
Liberal scum. Time to put on your big boy boots and stop asking for hand outs.
