I know that flying in formation has taken quite a bit of a hit as of late. Although with the advent of the new tactical jammer i think that we could see a rise of a different kind of formation flying than the swarms we are used to seeing. I'll let the list speak for itself. What do you guys think?

Seems like a lot of points just to support some academy pilots. Are you sure this is really better than just buying more academy pilots?

I like the idea of the Tactical Jammer/officer shuttles. Perhaps just one is necessary? I feel like they are best supporting something else than TIEs, like missile toting Bombers or non PtL interceptors. Or maybe even Defenders so they can target lock and fire for maximum damage.

Why do you people do this? This list has nothing to do with the concept the original poster was presenting. You have ONE card in common with his build. If you want feedback on your list start your own thread and stop junking up others with way off topic builds that aren't relevant.

As for the original concept, I think it's an interesting idea because it allows you to focus/evade with all your ties. That being said it feels like the Shuttles would be better served behind the ties so they have wider fire arcs etc. With the stress you generate the shuttle will get blocked up and lose their actions, so you really want to advanced sensors for the Fleet Officer, and green move into the back of the Tie formation. But I am not sure you quite have the points for Advanced Sensors plus Fleet officers.

Because we can, and because it can give you (in this case, the OP) ideas.

As for the original list, decent blocking, can work against some matchups, but you're missing out on the 3 attacks often, and spending 52 points to give +1 Agility and Focus tokens to 4 Ties?
