Starting this Friday night there will be an X-Wing league at ACE Comics and Games, Annerley, Brisbane.

Start 7 pm, Friday 26th September but games can be played any time after that in store during opening hours. The league runs for four weeks until Friday, October 17th.

EDIT: The league is being extended until Friday, November 7th due to all the late entries.

Entry $5 with all entry fees going toward prizes.

Prizes include vouchers to be used on X-Wing Product, an A-Wing expansion, acrylic range ruler and tokens (target lock, bomb and ion tokens), alternate art and oversized pilot cards.

Each entrant will receive an oversized Han Solo and Boba Fett card and alternate art cards (while stocks last on a first come first served basis).

All games are 100 points and one hour time limit and follow standard tournament rules.

Scoring is one point for a win, zero for a loss. If a game is a tie at the end of the hour, play will continue until there is a winner at the end of a combat round.

Final placings are determined by total win percentage. All players must play at least five games to qualify and standings ties will favour the player who has played the greater number of games.

We are also playing on Wednesday night this week to accommodate those people going away Friday for the long weekend.

There are still plenty of alternate art cards available for anyone who registers.

Games can be played any time during store opening hours. Use this thread to find opponents and arrange a game. When you have finished your league games, BOTH players need to report the result to a member of staff.
