I know I can fly the B well and with Rebel Aces out I want to see if this list could work in a tournament.

I'm curious to see how this turns out myself. I just fought against Keyan with Adv Sensors and he was an absolute close combat beast with his hard 1 turns after barrel rolling. I think Ibitsam can do similar feats. Nera also looks pretty good here. I'm not a B wing expert but I'd say this can work!
40+33+25=98 not 100. you still have 2 pts.
I know that Farlander is a big target, so I get using Chewie, but I can't help but feel that an engine on Farlander might be better (particularly with PtL and advanced sensors).
Then you have 3 points left, which could be a number of things:
Upgrade the blue to a dagger and give Nera deadeye (or Draw their Fire).
Give Nera Predator
Give the Blue an Ion cannon (possibly my favourite option).
Or something else. This is a list I would actually enjoy playing I think.
Or another option adding the E2 to the Blue and putting in Jan to allow you to get Evades instead of foci.
Edited by ID X Tjust do 3x Dagger FCS HLC, cant really find a better Bwing list than that
It does have 2 points left over. I could give Nera VI. But i wonder if i should drop a torp to put some crew on the blue?
I am not a fan of EU on him now. I tried this list against a phantom, and Chewbacca was what saved Farlander from certain death.
Edited by Captain_ArrrJust last night, I ran 3x Dagger each with B-Wing/E2, Gunner and Advanced Sensors. I went 3/0, so it seemed to work pretty well.
@EL Jefe - that does sound like a solid list.
I usually fly imperial, but all of these new rebel toys are very interesting indeed....
how about this, it is like fat han .... but with BBB.
keyan farlander 29
advanced sensors 3
push the limit 3
bwing/e2 1
kyle katarn 3

jan ors 2

total 100
farlander pushes every turn for the offensive stress(focus) effect, loses the stress in the attack gaining a focus from kyle that can be turned into an evade by jan. the third B has creepio- doin the creepy thing.

That's an interesting take on it. I like the Kyle/Jan combo you have going. I used jan on a blue last night for evade conversion and it was pretty effective at keeping guys alive.
But as I found out last night, you have to be careful with ptl/advanced sensors on Keyan, because a green move will remove his stress. Having to avoid using greens is actually tough. Using Kyle somewhat mitigates that in your list but it also means the combo might be better on Nera.
Farlander with advanced sensors/engine/PtL moves a lot like a phantom. It was great.

I am wondering then if it might work in my list to drop an f torp and either put Jan on with Nera. Or give Nera Predator
Edited by Captain_ArrrI am wondering then if it might work in my list to drop an f torp and either put Jan on with Nera. Or give Nera Predator
Predator is a good option on Nera, without it she won't hit anything with her torpedoes (as I found out). Also without Deadeye the Flechettes can be a pain to hit the right guy with.
I was considering advanced sensors, deadeye, flechette, munitions failsafe for Nera, instead of double flechettes.
If you are going to use Jan in your list, put it on the Blue who is less of a target than the other two.
My list would end up being:
Farlander, PtL, advanced sensors, engine upgrade
Nera, Advanced sensors, deadyeye, flechette, munitions failsafe
Blue, Advanced Sensors, E2, Jan Ors
Still considering the possibility of putting an Ion cannon on the blue instead of Jan, but your idea of putting predator on her is intriguing.
What about nera with dead eye, AND recon specialist!
What about nera with dead eye, AND recon specialist!
My favorite part of this, and this is where Nera gets expensive, is sticking an APT on this. Add in a high PS ST or Roark, so nice!
I tried this list against a phat Han list for practice. I did lose. The lack of defense did hurt and I am wondering if push the limit is really necessary.
Keyan really suffered because he moved to last.so I'm wondering if instead of push the limit I give him veteran instincts. Then kit Nera with recon specialist and deadeye and an Apt. I would also throw in Roark.
The question is do i keep Chewie on Keyan?
What about nera with dead eye, AND recon specialist!
While I appreciate that Nera is better with recon spec/deadeye, you are throwing too many points into her just to facilitate the torpedo use (that you don't really need to).
@Captain_Arr, Keyan's PS is definitely an issue, but I don't think VI is better than push to limit, opportunist, or stay on target for him. I had real trouble one on one against Soontir Fel who was just as maneuverable as I was and moved after me. I think it is the same for Phantoms unfortunately. I haven't solved this conundrum. Roark helps versus phantoms, but doesn't really against Fel or Han. Though if you were able to put swarm tactics onto Nera to give back Roark's PS for an ion turret shot it might be worth it. So either Keyan and Nera shoot first, or Nera and Roark shoot first. I will have to ponder some more.
Does that work with swarm tactics and Roark?
I have been working on a fleet with the APT with Nera but it makes her very expensive at 41 pts with deadeye and recon.
Yeah, Roark can do his PS thing and the target can then use Swarm Tactics to gift it to someone else (including back to Roark if you want), range dependant of course.
Nera with APT's is interesting but I think potentially too expensive for normal play, but good for epic. It is certainly a viable threat, but is it worth 10 points? How much damage is it realistically going to do?
Try this, maybe?
Put on Deadeye and Munitions Failsafe with the last two points and have a 360° stress monster.
Does ot habe to have triple B or would that list work with other ships?
Honestly, the flechette torpedoes are only there so that you don't lose a shot with Nera. Losing shots and being out of arc is what typically loses games (particularly costly with a 3 ship build), with Nera you can mitigate this somewhat. You are almost always trying to use your main gun, but sometimes you need to get away from the action and the flechettes help you in this respect. They offer a little control and can help versus tough matchups like Fel.What about nera with dead eye, AND recon specialist!

I would use the dead eye and recon specialist combo for dual APT action. If I want to turn her into a stress turret I would take munitions failsafe and gunner (or navigator if I feel like I could keep them in arc). Use gunner to make sure the last torp keeps missing, and pair her with a few golds with ion turrets. Bam, field control and anti phantom combo.
Blue Squadron-22
-E/2 Mod: 1
-Tactician: 2
-Ion Cannon: 3
-Flechette Torp: 2
Total: 30 points of madness
(Keep forgetting that you can't have a co-pilot and munitions failsafe)
Have 3 of these bad boys for 90 points, or drop the torp and get 16 points to throw another ship into the fray. Like a z with a missile.
