I just can't believe that the paint jobs of small plastic models made in a factory where they make pennies an hour aren't perfect.

One thing I've noticed on my B-wing is that it curves from top to bottom, and the s-foils are slightly slanted.

I'm actually pretty happy with how the original paint jobs are (minus some small details on the A's engine being poorly done) but I too am not that fond of how the A-Wing looks. I'm just not that keen on blue for them, so I'm gonna make it green over all the blue sections and do a light wash to make the white a touch more dull, maybe adding a yellow highlight or two, as soon as I actually find my paints and brushes. I've been missing them for a while. o__o

Sent FFG an email, but I'm guessing I'll have to send them my ship to get a new ship, meaning I can't play any A-Wings for a while since I didn't have any before Rebel Aces cause they have been sold out.

As far as I am aware, they don't make you send back the damaged ship. So you get to keep it...but obviously you will be short a base plates and dials etc.

I, for one, like the blue A-wing. I actually had a prototype-scheme on one of my A's prior to RA being announced. Then it was announced, and I re-repainted it back to green ('twas green before it was a prototype).
The blue I had was pretty freakin close to the blue the RA A-wing is.

the blue is the same as that used for the Z95s
