I just got the dark heresy core rulebook today and is trying to get started but i finding the character sheet and some of the rules confusing so I kinda need some help (or a kick in the pants) to get started so any kind souls here please help.

it the lay out of the sheet got me but i went back to the shop to see if the GM there could help me he lent me a sample list so i'm ok now thanks any ways

If you have Microsoft Office, or at least OpenOffice, you're more than welcome to try out my excel-based sheet. (The macros don't work in OpenOffice, but everything else does).

There are still things I have planned for future versions of the sheet, like a field which allows you to tell the sheet's formulas whether an item is being carried or not (for those that actually keep track of encumbrance, like I do... stuff that you're going to leave "at home" should not be counted). But otherwise, I consider it pretty much complete... I spent four days slaving over a hot keyboard to get it "just right".
