Premade Characters

By Zenuxo, in General Discussion

Hi guys,

greetings from Germany.

I bought the Force and Destiny Beta (which isn't available in Europe, only in the US) - and just the moment I read through it the first time - I spilled coffee all over the premade-Character Sheets.

Buying me another Beta-Book would cost me around 90 dollars (shipping and duty inclusive).

So.... would someone be so friendly and upload a readable and good scan of the premade chars - and send it to me?

I would really appreciate that! :)

Not at home now, but if someone doesn't hook you up by this evening, I'll throw mine on the scanner.

I would like them as well. I bought my F&D from FFG's store and they didn't bother to include the pre-mades =(

And that's why I don't drink coffee.

Of course I've spilled so much juice/milk/soda/water/etc on my gaming stuff over the years, I shudder to think of replacement cost.

I might be interested in said sheets as well. If someone could be so kind.

Likewise, if it's not too much trouble :)

Been trying to get a hold of a back-up copy of FaD for my face-to-face group to paw through, and the FLGS has been having zero luck in getting copies in (manager is hoping for this Friday).

That said, if someone does have these scanned, I'd be interested in seeing them. I've got the +100 XP versions of the Shii-Cho Knight, Soresu Defender, and Niman Disicple from GenCon, but having the others (especially if they're starting XP characters) would be interesting to see as a point of comparison to some of the various starting XP FaD characters I've made.

I bought mine from my FLGS and there were no pre-gens included...I may have to contact FFG about getting some copies sent to me since they should have been included.

I bought mine from FFG and there weren't any included either.

Thanks for that Brad, were they all the GenCon characters?

Thanks Brad, that's awesome!

Well, looks like I'm not needed here!

*rides off into sunset*

Yeah. But that last character, the one with the hard to read name, that one wasn't at GenCon.

Thanks a lot, bradknowles - you saved my wallet. And the universe. Mostly the universe.

There seems to be a 5 point mistake on the Artisan. No matter how you create the character, there is either 10 or 5 points left over

Thanks for that Brad, were they all the GenCon characters?

Not sure. I got my copy of the book through my FLGS, not GenCon.

Maybe someone who got their copy at GenCon can answer this?

If any of you purchased this from your FLGS, go back to the store and query them on it. My local store was most apologetic when I inquired about the pre-gens and handed them over without question.

I can confirm that these were the GenCon characters, as I got a chance to play the three 'saber-wielders as well as keep their character sheets, and the PDFs that brad uploaded are identical to the hard copy sheets that I have.

How did the saber wielders play?

Donovan played all 3 while at GenCon, I only had the opportunity to play the Niman disciple (it might have had an influence on why I liked that specialization so much).

At least in my experience, I hardly over shadowed the others in combat. We were mostly passive in the adventure, and combat didn't last long enough to get a good feel. Out side of combat, I was practically useless, but I still had a lot of fun.

whiteape1,

They played fine. I had the most trouble with the Niman Disciple, but that was because my Force die kept coming up Dark Side each time and I didn't feel it was in-character to have him resort to the dark side. That and I never seemed to generate enough Advantage to trigger the Linked 1 quality of his saberstaff.

The Shii-Cho Knight and Soresu Defender both played quite well, with the Shii-Cho Knight being a very effective beatstick that was able to tank pretty well thanks to her ranks in Parry and solid Soak Value. The Defender I think was spread a bit too thin being that he had two specs, but neither of the two were any more powerful than the other characters. Like kaosoe I didn't have a lot of immediate use out of combat as the Shii-Cho Knight, though given how thick over half the group was (they seemed to be laboring under the delusion that they had unlimited time rather than it being a 4 hour session with a strictly enforced endpoint), I wound up having to prod the group into following the fairly blatant clues as to where our next destination was.

This was my exact same experience with the ND.
