I can't speak for every place, but I just checked CoolStuffInc, and they seem to be still taking pre-orders.

Might be time to find a new FLGS - how any game store worth its weight could NOT know about this new, highly anticipated FFG card-game based on a GW property, is beyond me. I would have laughed out loud pointedly, at them, turned and walked right out. What a crappy FLGS that must be. Utter fail.

Eh, it depends a lot on what kind of gaming store. I'm fortunate to live in an area with several nearby, but the one closest to me I would not be at all surprised if they didn't know about Conquest. They cater to a higher-end of the gaming market than others around here. If I needed the latest Euro-game, or a fancy chess set, or a place to play realistic war miniatures, they would be the place to go. Card games just aren't their thing, though they're still friendly and local.

If it's a store that caters to card gamers, well then yes, that would be a bit strange to not know about an upcoming game, particularly from a major company like FFG.

Here's a good one: FFG did not break its promise on a Q3 release!

Most fiscal calendars start on a Monday (or the Saturday before) for accounting purposes. October 3 is the last Friday of the third fiscal quarter.

Hi,

New to this forum and to LCGs but a Warhammer 40k fan. This is the first game I have actually been counting the days for .

Now it seems the wait is soon over. The Scandinavian distributor of FFG have now gotten the first shipment of the game and I am now just awaiting the short haul over the sound. Maybe this Friday?

Release is in 3rd October ?

In Poland in 3rd october are releasing only poland language version. English language version are expected somewhere in next week .

So...the local store hadn't put one by for me when I phoned....only one left...asked them to put it by....it was still on the shelf when I arrived...luckily I now own the game! Huzzah!
