I'm in the same boat. As a college professor, I might get stuck having to grade papers or with some other administrative task that may prevent me from attending last minute.

I'm also curious how tickets/passes work. Are they mailed to us? Do we print them out to bring to the event?

Last year I was unable to go after buying my badge. I had contacted FFG about the goody bag and they could not mail it out however they did allow me to come pick it up after the weekend, when I was able to get there.
