Imps & Outmaneuver

By polmoneys, in X-Wing

The idea is to spam the EPT and deploy on opposite sites. Imo can be done with either defenders or firesprays.

## A ##

Colonel Vessery — TIE Defender 35

Outmaneuver 3

Engine Upgrade 4

Rexler Brath — TIE Defender 37

Outmaneuver 3

"Night Beast" — TIE Fighter 15

Targeting Computer. 2

NB and Vesseri in one corner,Brath on the other.

## B ##

Boba Fett — Firespray-31 39

Outmaneuver 3

Recon Specialist 3

Kath Scarlet — Firespray-31 38

Outmaneuver 3

Tactician 2

Academy Pilot — TIE Fighter 1

Kath and AP in one corner...

It's a simple plan, what do you think? Defenders or Firesprays? Any other Outmaneuver imperial squads worth considering?

TIA

The Firespray list will make the better use of the EPT IMO

The FAQ rules that rear arc is treated as a firing arc which means you will have more opportunities to use Outmaneuver.

How about:

5x Black Squadron Pilot + Outmaneuver

Night Beast

100 points

Hmm six ships not in formation it'd be very hard to avoid every fire arc, and two red dice versus one green is good odds.

Outmaneuver has become one of my favorite cards. I had Vessery+HLC+outmaneuver, Dark Curse, and a couple Scimitars+SC kill Chewie+MF in 2-3 rounds last time I played. Granted my opponent was inexperienced, and practically served the wookiee on a platter, it was still interesting to see how fast a falcon could go down against 3 ships (DC was sacrificed to block him).

I'll probably try the list again, but drop DC for another Scimitar, TIE fighters are gennerally worthless for my playstyle.

I like putting it on Royal Guard Interceptors. Two of those bad boys can be very scary, especially when deployed to opposite ends of the field in the beginning. Against many rebel builds they also allow you to focus your actions more defensively if you need to, since there are quite a few Rebels that can be reduced to 0 agility with it.
