Has anyone ever compiled a list of custom chapters that have been posted on this forum? I feel like it would be good to have for those of us wanting to try something different and also make it easier to access other peoples work.

I know that I've posted the Smoking Fists Chapter and I've got the Angels Malakim on my computer. And then a whole load of Chapters which are not finished.

But in regards to a list, no I can't think of anyone.

I'd like to see a list too. On 1d4chan there's a list of a bunch of chapters made by fans, both before and after Rites of Battle came out. You can look there if you're after ideas.

The only custom chapter I've ever really created is my own idea for the Eleventh Legion. Oh, and I took chapter with no information on it (The Viper Legion) and expanded on it to make them undercover Alpha Legionnaires.

One of the things I'm thinking of is a unique specialty for one of the chapters I'm working on right now. Its akin to a wolf-scout in how it would be presented but its there to make up for the lack of choice to be devastators for this chapter, but by no means is it meant to replicate the exact role, although it does emphasize ranged weaponry in a different manner.

Basically its a dual pistol wielding specialty. For their unique ability its something along the lines of them not taking any penalty to BS when frenzying, which the chapter is kind of built around. No they aren't Blood Angels successors. The best example of the concept would probably be the Gunzerker from Borderlands 2.
