Hypothetical questions about character creation choices.
Everything else would depends on context, but I would probably not play a F&D game where I was forced to use Morality . So I would take Duty or Obligation instead of Morality depending on which made sense in the context.

And that's how the plot develops, so I wouldn't see that as strictly a bad thing (my issues with Morality aside).
I allow players to use all three, though they can only gain the maximum benefit of +10xp/+5xp & 1,500 credits/+2,500 credits. In the two most recent games I've GM'ed, most of the PCs had a mixture of Obligation and Duty, along with one Force Sensitive character in both games with Morality. All three group resources were in play, but none were triggered in either game. Though, as T3CHN0Shaman mentioned, there's good potential for plot development if that does happen.
Edited by verdantsfI have a friend who is adding a F&D character to our Edge group per his backstory he will be using both Obligation(Bounty) and Morality since he is playing a former Jedi Padawan.In my opinion I might make all my force users use morality as it illustrates the temptation of the dark side of the force as always being there.
As for resources for me it depends because as a player I like the edge resource because I have alot of options when it comes to ships.
I personally don't like Duty, it just seems forced "no pun intended" to me. I much prefer obligation or morality. I like the idea of using Obligation for all characters, and Morality if you are a force user.
For a shared resource, a ship is the default go to for me. Everybody needs a way to get around the galaxy. In our current game however the shared resource is a business, as per the Colonist book. The PC's own a Cantina/Inn/Club. Storywise they actually received the club in lieu of a bounty, when the owner had an embarrassment of funds, but that's just to show how they came to be legitimate businessmen (mostly women actually).
The club/business is turning out to be an awesome resource. We havae started to develop the personalities around it, and gain real attachments. The most recent series of (mis)adventures has revolved around rescuing one of their dancers who was kidnapped by slavers.
The characters have a ship, but it belongs to one PC, who has a mess of debt obligation.
Based on the interaction of conflict with force powers and the dark side pips, I think Morality is a must going forward. You don't even need to call it morality, but there should be a nicely codified tracker for using and not using the dark side of the force, something that is transparent for players and is easily understood.
Honestly, I'd go ship always. You could have a game based around one location, but sometimes you just have to haul ass off the planet for one reason or another. When that time comes, it's not very heroic to have to hitch a ride or take the public transport.
Beyond that, it depends on the setting, pretty much whatever story I want to tell. So there's no one right answer.
