Just wondering on people thoughts considering the current meta.

Probably 3 ship builds.

Thinking something like

Krassis + HLC + Recon

Bounty Hunter + Gunner

Backstabber

Is the low PS a big issue?

In the pre-Wave IV days, I used to have pretty solid success with this build:

Bounty Hunter x2

Soontir Fel + PtL

That left me with 4 points to either beef up Fel with a Shield Upgrade or Stealth Device/Hull Upgrade if I wanted the PS bid. Or put a recon specialist on one of the Firesprays. Since Wave IV's release, I've had fun with putting Tactician on both of the Firesprays as well.

Looks pretty good! One worry I do have is getting outmaneuvered by Phantoms. Guess that's down to flying well though. Hoping the gunner can help strip token first attack then do damage second, but I guess it's all on the dice roll.

Dual Firesprays are hard to outmaneuver though due to the auxiliary arc. It is very easy to place them so that if you get in the blind spot of one you are in the crosshairs of the other.

Double Firesprays with HLCs and either Backstabber or Mauler Mithel is quite a popular list in my local meta. Quite versatile if you fly well.

I flew 2 bounty hunters with gunner and a doom shuttle multiple times during our stores 6 week league and won every match. I also used boba with outmanuever, a BH and a doom shuttle and won with that setup as well. Beat phantom, swarms and double Falcons. I loved both the lists but I think I'm partial to the first list with gunners. The only thing that was hard was flying the shuttle without and engine upgrade. I learned to stall as long as possible until I had multiple targets in arc so I could minimize the amount of turns I had to do and maximize the amount of shots I got before I had to start turning. Worked wonderfully. Ended up taking 1st and winning the medal, acrylic bomb tokens and 50 dollars store credit! I was super stoked. The list is not unbeatable by any means but it is a solid list even with the current wave.

I just can't get the hang of the shuttle. Practice required I think!

I am 41-13 with this build:

Boba + HLC + Predator

Kath + HLC + Predator + Rebel Captive

Biggest strength is against 3-4 small ships builds. Biggest weakness are falon/decimator builds as you can't ever outfly turrets (and really that's a problem for any squad). Phantoms and interceptors are tough but winnable, as our swarms. It's really fun to play this squad though.
