Well, to be fair, the show hasn't been worth a **** in years and years now. From season, oh - about 4 to about season 10? Brilliant stuff. After that point, tho? A slow spiral into non-funny repetition. Even the annual Halloween specials - always guaranteed to bring The Funny - haven't been any good in five years.

Yes, Haley is young, but I don’t think that’s the reason why she doesn’t know who Nelson is.

Her braille screen reader can help her read the word "Nelson", but it can’t help her understand the GIF or the TV series from which the GIF is derived.

Actually, The Simpsons is on the (too short!) list of shows available in DVS (Descriptive Video Service) so that is something really cool. I just never really liked it. I know I blamed genetics in my last post but I think it might really be that the show doesn't translate to that format very well.
