One nice thing about Scum, though - more obvious 'huge' ship possibilities...

By xanderf, in X-Wing

The 'Crusader'-class Corvette, for example - a Mandalorian design used by the Zann Consortium.

The turrets on its sides and top will be about the same size as the CR90's guns, so you can get a sense of scale of it - basically right about the same general size as the CR90.

Not bad looking ship!

Or the Corporate Sector Authority's "Marauder"-class corvette...

...a bit more 'meh', but still an interesting possibility!

You heard it here first. Scum huge ships announced. No word on imperial huge ships still.

Nah, it's obvious we'll get the Imperial 'Huge' ship first (or, heck, at the same time - the Rebel Transport and CR-90 were announced simultaneously, after all).

Just pointing out that the new faction does open up some cool possibilities for all scales of the game...

So...cruel.

I like this one, I don't feel confident that Epic play is really going to take off; I think FFG is trying to cut their losses on that and focus that energy on Armada instead.

Umm, both of the Huge ships are getting a reprint. That says they are selling pretty well.

I'm sorry, "cut their losses"? From what I understand it was impossible to keep the epic ships on the shelves. I still think there's a missed opportunity to not have at least one huge Imperial ship, and I know Scum & Villlainy is going to sell just fine. I think if they choose attractive and interesting ships for epic play for the other two factions they will sell.

Didn't the FFG designers in the TC video from GenCon also say that the Imperial Epic is coming? I honestly forget.

Wild card!

Honestly, I don't think I've heard them officially confirm that, but unofficially, pretty often.

IMHO, it's a safe bet. Question is just when...

I'm sure it'll be announced at least 8 months in advance of the release, plenty of time for the impatient children amongst us to make an inordinate number of "where is it?" threads.

Want it now!

I wanna see that tartan cruiser sitting their proudly erect and turgid eager to spew bolts of power into the faces of rebels.

If we're to expect any Scum Huge Ships, I'm thinking this would be one of them:

WildKarrde_schem.jpg

And maybe this one too:

LadyLuck_egvv.jpg

Wouldn't the lady luck be a rebel ship, also I don't remember it being that hot in a fight.

The Lady Luck isn't the only SoroSuub Luxury Yacht out there...and the unarmed Rebel Transport ain't that hot in a fight either! Huge ships don't need to be armed to the teeth... they just need a few gimmicks that make them useful

I don't think Karrde is Scum. Or Villainious...

I hope for the bulk transport and crusader class, those would look good together.

@OP: Yeah dude, um...this has already been posted like a gazillion times. By me, Joe Boss Red Seven, and others.

Amusing thing is their is a very high possibility of a "Imperial Fleet" kit for huge ships like the "most wanted", and just give cards for the cr90.

I honestly think Epic play, and the Reb huge ships aren't AS popular as they could be, because there is no Imp counter to them yet. Once that happens, I'm sure all of the Epics will start flying off the shelves.

That's right 3rd Faction Scum Huge Ship and 4th Faction CSA Huge Ship announced and released.

But still no Imperial Huge Ship.

Yeah I played Epic once but the fact the Imperials have no counter does make it saddening.

Although I do look at the 0 agility and the 12 hull on the VT-49 decimators and wonder if that is supposed to be an Epic Ship that has been formatted for standard play. I mean it has more hit points than the space whale it attacks ships by running into them, also why it costs more points to boot.

If FFG are working on a 1 combat and 1 support huge ships design for each faction, the scum support could be a Mobqet transport which would allow them to use the Suprosa as a named version.

Yeah, I think the Mobquet is pretty ideal as a transport option - but Scum or Imperial, that's the question.

BBF-1 Bulk Transport for the Imperials would be great - especially if you could detach the cargo containers and put them on their own flight stands to use as terrain or objectives...
