"Tell Us About Your Campaign!" Pin

By Aerilyn84, in Game Masters

In most RPG forums, there's a post floating around where GMs can go on and on about their campaigns like parents do with their children. These posts are common because they're interesting... they provide a lot of inspiration and, as stated above, GMs love talking about their campaigns.

I know several of them exist around here. I did a couple of advanced searches to find them. But can we pin one to the GM board? I'm sure if people had access to a regular update post, they'd participate in the narrative more. No one wants to chase down a post just to keep people updated, though.

Thoughts?

I tell about my campaign on my blog. I try to write up the session logs the night after a session or the next day (some longer write-ups take 2 days), but so far it seems to be working best that way. I is kind of hard for me to break down more than I have without missing the fun details I wrote up in the blog.

(I need to translate this to pirate speak, but I am too lazy to fully commit to talk like a pirate day).

I do like to read other's stories too So I can see how my team can "borrow" ideas or plot hooks for use in their efforts.

The only way I was able to pin a topic was to send a private message to the web master.

There WAS a thread of this nature floating around, but I suspect it's buried now. Good hunting!

I was thinking this would be a pin with the words "Tell us about your campaign" that you'd wear to an RPG convention if you hated yourself and wanted to die.

I have been using Obsidian Portal to build a wiki site around the world as it relates to my campaign. This is truly a fantastic resource.

Same here... except it's exams in place of work.
