So is this a print-on-demand thing, or will they eventually show up in the FLGS stores too?

My FLGS carries the specialization decks...
Yeah, its gonna depend on the store. My FLGS ordered 3 of each of the Edge of the Empire decks, the vast majority of which are still hanging on the pegs.
My local store also has the Edge of the Empire specialization decks hanging there.
Hopefully these guys are higher quality than the Talent Cards. The art was fine and all, but the card stock was kind of chintzy. (Yes, yes - I actually bought one. . . )
If you really like them laminate them or have them laminated. Material no longer matters.
I have made all my "use more than once" materials laminated. I even took the character books from the Beginner box and did that so I can reuse it again and again.

If they're the same size as the specialization decks, then yes.
I am kind of surprised that they didn't post an official article or announcement for these (at least that I can see) only one of my players has ever even somewhat considered buy the specialization decks and from the forums it never looked like demand was very high but I remember people asking for these since the spec decks were announced. I will be buying all 3 .

I picked up one - eh, what the hell is 6 bucks anyway - and yeah, can confirm that they are an exercise in pointlessness. Everything they do, I do much better in my character's spreadsheet anyway. So really beyond the cool art (which I will admit is cool), they're useless to me.
