Soontir Fel - PTL, stealth device. - 33 points

Who should I pair with this pilot? I'm torn between

A) bounty hunter X2

Or

B) academy pilot X4, howlrunner with veterin instincts

Or

C) academy pilot X3, night beast, dark curse

Thoughts? I'm trying to figure out a good list for worlds

Bounty Hunters. Because 1) They add a lot of hitpoints to your list 2) A lot of firepower and 3) Firesprays are great with and against anything.

Is my recommendation. I flew this a lot and had a blast. I've recently replaced the BH with a Delta Squad defender and an HLC, as I have an unnaturally strong love affair with the Defender, but that squad is a lot more finicky. I find it more fun to fly, but it is less consistent, and takes a lot more thinking/planning. I take Gunner over Recon Spec as I tend to fly the Firespray like its a missile, IE ramming it down their throat, so I often lose my action. Recon Spec and Seismic Charges are a great choice if you fly it more... elegantly.

I have a list where I pair Baron Fel (kitted out exactly as you have him) with the following:

Howlrunner with Veteran Instincts and a Stealth Device

Scimitar Squadron with Assault Missiles

Academy Pilot x 2

I like to pair fragile flankers with something beefy to draw fire.

I almost always fly Fel's Wrath with Soontir in casual play for LORE.

Few points left for upgrades. I tend to like recon and or a bomb on the firespray.

Sub in a Shuttle for Baron's Magic Spacebus.

Adding duel mercenaries would be good that's too many hit points to ignore and the rear arc makes it tougher on the other guy when he's trying to arc dodge.
