Help me!

By knightpadawan22, in X-Wing

I'm new so is this list good or is it just me.

Wedge+Outmaneuver+R7+Shield upgrade

Dutch+Ion Cannon Turret+Munitions Failsafe+R5-D8

x2 Headhunter+Ion Pulse Missiles

Advice please. ;)

There are a lot of very good list. X-Wing is fantastic for this reason plus many more. Most people will default to asking you what you have in your collection to see what they can build from what you have. So is this questioned aimed at what you should buy to build or for what you have?

What I have.

No point in munitions fail safe on a ship with no munitions.

This.

First hi.

Don't use outmanouver on wedge if your playing an imperial player alot you'll not really get the benefit from it, predator is better it lets you re-roll a dice and works well when you focus.

Put the munitions failsafe on a z-95 it's only good if you have missiles or torps.

X-wing has thousands of combos don't be afraid to experiment.

Thanks! looked closer and saw what you mean and gave it to a headhunter.

This is personally how I would play your squad.

Wedge Antilles (29)
Outmaneuver (3)
R2-D2 (4)
Hull Upgrade (3)
"Dutch" Vander (23)
Ion Cannon Turret (5)
R2 Astromech (1)
Tala Squadron Pilot (13)
Ion Pulse Missiles (3)
Tala Squadron Pilot (13)
Ion Pulse Missiles (3)
Total: 100
Some things might seem weird, but listen:
Hull is more cost efficient, and the point is not to refill your shields to 2 or 3, but to keep refilling them back by 1. That's all. Hull helps keep you alive if they decide to focus Wedge.
Dutch would really love some better green moves.
Being at PS4 Talas are probably going to help get those missiles off better as it makes it easier to find the target. Or use Dutch. Try to fire your missiles with TL and Focus. That will pretty much ensure you have the best chance to hit. This then allows us to take the Munitions Failsafes off (which frankly don't tend to do much).
Later, after you've fired the missiles, being at PS4 will help you shoot before other lower pilots and give the ships better actions.
You can pick between Outmaneuver, Push the Limit or Predator for Wedge. All are fine. I'd recommend Push the Limit personally.
You have a nice list! Good luck!

I like it, only change I would make is drop the 2 Talas to Bandits and upgrade the Hull Upgrade to Shield Upgrade then replace outmaneuver with predator. Push the Limit is fine, but I find that typically I only need to reroll one die when I have a focus available and not having the stress will be nice. Outmaneuver requires you to be out of their firing arc which if you are using R2D2 because you think you'll be targeted, sounds like you'll be in a lot of firing arcs. Also, outmaneuver+wedge is pointless if you are facing a 1 agility ship like the falcon that is cluttering a lot of metas lately. This all leaves you at 99 points so that you can have initiative against all those pesky Soontirs and Phantoms that like to maneuver out of arcs.
