According to Suns of Fortune, the area known as the Rayless Lantern is ruled by the Silestro Privateers (supported by Black Sun). I looked them up on Wookieepedia for more info, but nothing came up. However, when I looked up the entry on the Rayless Lantern, a completely different group, the Binayre Pirates, had control of the area during the Galactic Civil War. These pirates also had ties to Black Sun. Since Suns of Fortune is also set during roughly the same time period, I wonder if there's any connection between these two privateer/pirate groups. Minor name snafu? Wrong time period? Anyone have the scoop?

Sounds like a DC comics easter egg, based on the Sinestro Corps - the Yellow lanterns.

This was a section I worked on. This is a kind of long, involved story, but basically, let's just say that control of those things can flip back and forth a lot between various pirate and criminal factions. CorSec was mounting a huge campaign against them, hiring random spacers to go fight there, after all. If you'd prefer to use a different pirate faction, feel free to change some names and go for it.
