Also pretty unrelated but this is a pretty interesting read about how Beleriand may have been destroyed and what the War of Wrath may have been like, god a film or game set during the war of wrath would be goddamn amazing..... really hope one day there is a game set in the first (or even second) age.... so many amazing stories, places, people and events to explore.

That was a ridiculously long read, but amazing. He did a fantastic job fleshing out the story in a way that I could see actually working onscreen. It's a shame he never finished the third part, I was very sad when I came to the end of it.
