Nice work dude! :D

Wow.

Beautiful.

Outstanding !!!!!

<-- Is speechless.

amazing majestic ship well done

Doesn't look like a scratchbuild, which is the sign of a *really* good scratchbuild :)

AMAZING!!!

MAN that turned out nice...

That is hot... awesome work.

You should be working at FFG making amazing models full time.

Agreed.

Just... wow.

Incredible work! :D

Available for purchase... when? :)

Seems like some one could make a mold of this beauty for you and sell copies.

If we get the community to make some unofficial but balanced pilots and upgrades for this, I'd buy it

That is probably amongst the highest praise I can receive. Of course, since I'm unable to show or feel any humility I just feed those comments directly into my ego and take it as proof of how awesome I am. :D

I have actually looked into mould making and it is a bit more expensive than I feel comfortable with. If I could get a big enough customer base it would be feasible but then I would also have to avoid Disney's lawyers, the true dark side of the universe.

Feel free to come up with rules but do bear in mind that this ship is probably overpowered. It would need to be nerfed quite badly to achieve any sense of balance.

**** that is some cool bling you have there

Absolutely awesome work.

Any WIP build shots? Interested to know how you did the panelling.

I just read through your build blog... Frankly, your talent sickens me. The problem solving and attention to detail is simply incredible. Bravo.

Edit: And I just ran across your scratchbuild tutorial! Keep these up! I've been desperately looking for something like this! (I've got a scratchbuild I want to do but have ZERO experience - Thank you!)

Truly awesome stuff! As always.

When you decide to sell give me a nod!

I did do a progress report of the build earlier but I wasn't didn't go into that kind of depth. However, I'm currently publishing a series of post on my blog that deals with scratchbuilding though what you are asking for won't be included until the third and final part.

I'm sickening you? I must have done something right then! :P The second part of the tutorial is up so you might want to check it out. http://alternativewargamer.blogspot.se/2014/09/scratchbuilding-tutorial-part-2.html

What are you looking to scratchbuild? I might be able to give you some pointers to give you a good start.

When you decide to sell give me a nod!

The ship is a commission so that won't be possible. Unless of course you are prepared to pay more than the commissioner. :)

I'm planning on building an HT-2200...

At 1/270 it's 8in so I may have to make it "Huge" or up the scale to 1/400 or something (though since I've never attempted this, a larger model's at Game Scale probably the best bet).

The nice thing about the ship is it's boxy as Hell... Good for a beginner (I think).

That is one ugly ship! On the other hand, its boxy shape should make it a bit easier to build, just like you're assuming.
