Folks, I have a limited entertainment budget for the month. I have a line on an A Wing and a B Wing. (I dont have either ship for my Rebel Fleet yet) But my FLGS is getting Rebel Aces in a couple days. Same price....which to I buy?

Skip lunch a few days and buy one of each!

Get Aces first because I have a feeling it's going to be more tricky to get in the near future than the single expansions. It'll also have upgrade cards that are more helpful for you making your A-Wing especially tricky, and the new pilots are overall pretty solid. It's pretty hard to judge given that I don't know what you have currently, but hopefully you have something else that already has system upgrades for the B-Wing.

Get both.

Get Rebel Aces. It makes A-Wings much more useful. And the B-Wing pilots are way cool. With some Chardaan Refits, you'll be able to slowly build out your A-Wing lists with ships that are properly costed.

I would have to agree on Aces.

Rebel aces has better pilots and better upgrades

Definitely Aces, as they address the problems with both ships:

A-wings: fixed with better pilots and cost-efficiency

B-wings: while the unnamed pilots were good before, Aces adds unbelievably good named pilots.

Rebel Aces will be cheaper and contain better looking models, better pilots, and highly sought after fixes for the regular expansions. It will also include a new mission.

Keyan and Jake blow Tycho and Ibtisam out of the water.

Also the upgrade cards from Aces are much more usefull. The B wing has literally nothing in it I use regularly (I may have used the Fire Control System... once) and the A-wing only has PTL as a usefull upgrade.

In Aces, I only find Enhanced scopes a bit "meh" the rest of the cards are all somewhere between great and mindblowingly awesome!
