I liek Hastur. Hastur is cute and cuddly and mischievous.

I played all the gears a lot when they came out, usually used Carmine in multiplayer on 1 and 2, then COG and Onyx guards in 3. Miss that satisfying pop of the sniper rifle headshots in multiplayer.

My avatar is a dragon. It felt appropriate.

I guess I'll mention my avatar again.

There's a game FFG used to sell, called Anima: Tactics. They still own a lot of the Anima universe via LCGs and RPGs, but they no longer make/sell/whatever the miniatures game. Another company does that now.

Anyway, it's a 4-7 model skirmish game, with the average being 5-6. It's a lot like X-Wing actually, but does measuring via tape measurer instead of templates.

This particular character, Cordelia Rosalind, is interesting. She's about average speed (slow for the faction she's in, which generally moves fast), can stealth (sneak like an assassin or thief type character)... then instead of backstabbing or otherwise doing rogue-like things, she shoots you with a cannon. Needless to say, she's just a bundle of joy.

Not being able to have a custom avatar is really annoying and you can sometimes think you're reading one persons views when its someon else if you're not paying attention or tired.

The pitifully small amount of choices doesnt help.

I guess I would have taken a non-X-wing avatar if there were any that I knew and liked. They don't have avatars from Starcraft the board game, and none from Cosmic Encounter that I like.

The A-wing is fine, I like it, and there are only 3 other posters around here with it (hurray for A-wing being less popular than other ships).

Custom avatars or at least wave3-4-5 would be very welcome.

I think X-wing's avatar pool needs an update. It's still in Wave 2.

I picked mine before I saw yours and yeah I like the game even though everyone is pushing for Exodus over Twilight Imperium.

What is this Exodus you speak of?

That you use Twilight Imperium in the same sentence has me hopeful that FFG are either working on a new expansion or perhaps a new space opera boardgame.

OK....I had been thinking about switching mine for a bit....and then saw this thread. I looked and there aren't a lot of guys with "Van Dykes" (ok....people call them goatees, but with the mustache they are technically van dykes). There was one knight guy that was alright, but then I came across these space ones. The look to be done by the same artist as Munchkin. There is one of a space guy all stressed out that made me laugh. I almost grabbed it, but I don't want to come across as that stressed.
