Lil' Green's

By Corellian Corvette, in X-Wing

Little Greens:

Green Squadron(19)+Prototype Pilot(0)+PtL(3)+Predator(3)+Refit(-2): 23 points

This makes a 23 point escorter that you can have 2 of to accommodate the falcon with. Or you can drop the predator to knock the cost down to 20 points and take a 60 point falcon instead of a 54 point one. Or you can drop the predator to take a list of 5 Little Greens, which would be fun, if you have the A-wings.

Or if you want, you can drop the predator to take Veterans Instincts for a 21 point, PS:5 ship, that is not unique! It's kinda like the royal guard TIES, but you can almost have 5 of them!

Anyways, I have used these 3 loadouts as great filler ships in the past (By proxing the unreleased cards) and wanted to share them with you guys.

Yeah A wings are going to be great real soon! Cant wait to pull out a 4 A wing list starring Mr Farrell and the 3 Greens!

Yeah I'm a big fan of Green Squadron + Refit + Test Pilot + Outmaneuver + Predator. Comes in at the same 23 points as well, and is crazy effective. Once Lone Wolf comes out, that can be switched in for Predator if you intend to only use one as a flanker.

4 Prototype A-wings with chardaan refit

Keyan Farlander with stay on target, advanced sensors, bwing e2 mod, C3PO or engine upgrade.

The idea of running a small awing swarm sounds fun.

You could also take out SOT for push the limit.

Oeh! Im liking that idea, maybe take it one step further?

Zoom Zoom!

But, I don't know... I somehow like the idea of a super elite squad of A's. A swarm seems a lot more viable though.

I only have four awings (or I will as soon as I get my hands on Rebel Aces) which is why I chose the b-wing. I do like Jake a lot though.

That's a ton of A Wings!

Is there a mechanic to help out on that 2 red attack? I know with the Empire, Howlrunner can make the swarm really viable, but for the A Wings, I don't know if they have something like that....

Otherwise it might be like a swarm of bee's, really annoying and hard to hit, but not doing enough damage to be meaningful (unless it's a really big swarm, in which case you should jump in a lake or go inside).

Rebels are pretty good at buffing other squad members, but when you ask them to buff more then 1 at a time you've hurt their feelings.

Luckily, A's soon get 2 EPT's to help with that lackluster 2 dice attack!
