While you are at Range 1 of at least 1 emeny ship, increase your agility valve by 1.

Possible upgrades

Retro Fit A-wing- (-2) replaces missiles

A-wing test pilot- (0) Gain EPS

freaking amazing with PTL and Stealth Device, fella just refuses to die

2-3 atk dice still leaves much to be desired though, and PS5 can be a bit tricky to get into range 1 of enemy ships with higher PS

Gemmer is a great pilot in a (soon to be) decent ship.

A good endgame ship if the offensive bonus can (via upgrades) reach the same killing power of an X-Wing.

That's what I am thinking though just a crazy thought what if we combo

Expose- Action: Until the end of the round, increase your primary weapon value by 1 and decrease your agility by 1.

Stealth Device - Increase your agility value by 1. If you are hit by an attack, discard this card.

So you have the option of running,

3/3/2/2 (range 1 is 3/4/2/2)

Or

2/4/2/2 (range 1 is 2/5/2/2)

It would seem to me he'd make a weaker end game ship since the possibility of being R1 of an enemy is greatly diminished when there are fewer ships on the board.

He'd have done his job (by then) and hence the comment about killing power.

He not only needs to get to the end, he also needs to be able to finish the deal. :)

I think what skargoth is probably alluding to is the well-established fact that statistically speaking, Expose is a bad investment for increasing your damage input, as things stand right now. There will be some interesting combos with experimental interface (discussed at length a few weeks ago), but at the moment it's expensive and not better than many other options.

I've personally seen an interceptor at range 3 roll five dice because of SD and get nothing but blanks, green dice you can't trust the little blighters no matter how many you roll.
