The place I pre-ordered from has had a tentative delivery date of Sep 29/Oct 1 for a couple of weeks now. I was assuming that they had a pretty good idea already. But I'm starting to doubt it, since here we are, mid-September and still shows on the boat. I don't see how they can make it. My only hope is that, as has happened before, FFG is slow to update when things come off the boat and next thing you know it is released. Unfortunately, it sounds like Oct 9 is a more realistic date. It is frustrating, I mean people are putting up threads on common misplays and I haven't even had a chance to play a real game yet.
If it goes to shipping this week when this week's update is done then it can still easily be by the 29th.

When the delivery date is the end of the month like that, it usually indicates the information the store got from the company or their distributor was "in September," as opposed to "on September 29." That's why you'll often see pre-order release dates on retailer sites jump a month at a time.
I suspect it will be shipping by the end of the week, and in our hands by the end of the month.
I suspect it's an elaborate hoax and the game doesn't exist.
Somewhere, deep in the bowls of Fantasy Flight games about a week before GenCon, one of the LCG designers laying sprawled on a sofa, surrounded by mountains of beer bottles and empty pizza boxes slurs at the other two men laying the deepening gloom "Hey guys. Guise. Wherent weee suhpossed to do something..."
The two other developers barely stir, but a barely clothed woman pushes the pizza awakens and starts to brush off the Netrunner credit tokens that had been thrown her way the night before, the ominous words "I run on your Archive" bouncing backward and forward in her brain, itself still cloudy from hours previously where they'd all decided that it was a good idea to start bringing back the Greyjoy discard theme.
"Oh... ohgohd... We we were supposed to design the Conquest LCG" He looked up in horror at a close-by computer screen, the Conquest page uploaded prematurely by one of them, doubtless as a drunken dare. The public knew it existed. They'd have to pull it all together and produce it, but the only work they'd done so far was to scrawl "Slanesh's arse 3x in Core" on the wall.
As great as that was, it just wasn't enough.

I'm too tired to continue this now. Maybe later.

This is so amazing it deserves its own thread. I want to know more of this amazing story.
LOL
... It was a grim sight around the table. The three developers stared at one another, bleary eyed - each holding a foul brown concoction that one of their mothers swore could cure any hangover. The yolk of an egg bobbed to the surface of one of the cups; yellow, but changed. Staring down, it occurred to the first developer that exposure to the liquid had caused it to surrender it's intrinsic, existential identity as an egg yolk.
Become something more. Perhaps something less.
He knew he had to drink it; this wasn't the sort of hangover that felt like a dull thumping inside of your head - it was the sort that drilled out of your skull above your eye socket and into an alternate universe of unending horror and pain. A universe where instead of working on the project you were supposed to, you'd spent the time attempting to filter beer through full-bleed Cthulhu art cards, without success.
"Guys, the situation is grim" he groaned. "We were supposed to have this done a month ago."
"What about the bath?" Asked the second.
The third slammed his fist down on the table, his voice raising to a throaty whisper - but to the men around the table it sounded like a thousand screaming GenCon attendees who'd already paid for a ticket to the opening tournament. "The bath can't help us, we can't even go in there. Remember our forth? He went to the bathroom and he never came back. I can still hear him gibbering at night".
"Are we even sure he actually existed?"
All three men sat in silence, mulling it over.
Finally, the third broke the silent reverie for their lost companion who may or may not have actually existed. "Do any of you remember why we have a bathtub full of LSD anyway?"
Again, silence.
"We could use it? Remember MKUltra?"
The first squinted across the table. "Dangerous talk. The forums are already full of conspiracy theorists, and they're already asking a lot of questions about our shady business activities with the core sets".
"Are they still going on about that?"
"Every forum. Every few days. They can never know that due to a bizarre twist of volume printing, if we were to print complete playsets in ever core, we'd be able to sell each box for 20% less than we charge now!"
Forgetting themselves for a moment, the three developers began to laugh. Deep, belly laughs, tinged with something cold, something callous. All of a sudden the third began to splutter and hack - reaching under the table he quickly pulled out a box labelled "Netrunner Core Completion: Unique development prototype" and vomited copiously into it.
Wiping a tear of mirth from the corner of his eye, the first turned to the second. "So, seriously - Second - how is this bathtub of LSD going to solve our problems".

Polish distributor says it's 2 October.
Polish distributor says it's 2 October.
That sounds plausible as long as we see it ship this week. If that happens then we will most likely see the first War-Pack on the boat in October and Shipping in November... I'm game!
Edited by ImperialBucketHeadSomeone has said that a Spanish distributor is sharing the same Oct. 2nd date. That's looking more and more likely at this point. Man this game took it's sweet time getting here.
Bah!
Spanish company that produces it Edge Entertainment has it now shipping and due on October 3rd. Hopefully FFG shipping is soon too.
It also would not be the first time that Spain got something before North American sadly.

Not sad for Spain!
The US gets enough stuff first as it is.

Why does everyone assume NA means USA ? I live in Canada, the largest part of North America.
Yes not sad for Spain at all. Sad for everyone that wants to play and cannot elsewhere. I'd like some of my buddies to get cards so we can all play.

Canada isn't even a real country.
