I would kill for a spreadsheet that allowed you to sort all the species based on their stats, skills, or special abilities. It'd make it much easier for when I'm designing an encounter for my game and I just need to be able to quickly visualize all the various "strong" or "deceitful" species.
Species Master List?
Has anyone taken a shot at making a full sortable spreadsheet of all the species with their stats included? It would be incredibly helpful for us GMs to be able to sort by Brawn or Cunning, for example, if we're looking to populate a scene quickly with species known to be tough or deceitful.
I'm only missing 2 of the books out right now with species (Nexus of Power and Lead by Example), if you send me a PM I'll help you with what you need to do your thing.
I don't like spreadsheets.
Decided to stop being lazy for a moment. Except for the two books I'm missing it should all be there. I didn't put special or racial abilities in yet, I didn't have that much time.

Just a tidbit: if you count every species profile, including Corellians but not subspecies options, we have 57 species. If you do count the subspecies (Gand, Aqualish, Nikto, Polis Massan, and Mustafarian) then we have 66.
Savage Spirits and Forged in Battle should introduce 4-6 new species together. Throw at least one more if The Force Awakens Beginner Game gives us Abednedo (please?), although that's speculative.

Seems very unlikely it would contain stats for the species, since the beginner boxes lack character creation info. But no reason they can't appear in another sourcebook.
All I know for certain is that one pre-generated character is an Abednedo. If that means we get the stats there or not is, again, specilation.
It makes me wonder in the very least if we'll get a splatbook for the force awakens era. So far there's not much more to go on than just the contents of a splat book really. I'd like to play a Tarsunt in the future so I'm hopeful.
Savage Spirits seems to have Anx, Ithorian, and Quermian according to a poster who got the book today.

All bizarre exotics and duplicates.
I don't know why I'm surprised any more.

Added. Thanks!

I've been a subscriber to your publication for a long time now. However, consider me a full-on convert. There are too many species that I would love to see official stats for that feel like have been passed over for more obscure or bizarre species.
A possibility to consider is that FFG is restricting themselves to species we see on screen (not all of them are, but only 7 of 59 haven't originated or at least appeared on screen) Unfortunate, but they conveniently sidestep the Legends vs. Canon issues. It just so happens that the vast majority of alien species we actually see on screen are... rather peculiar.

It definitely seems that way. It's unfortunate. However, that might mean we will get to see some cool species like Harch, Tholothian, Mikkian, or Talz.

Last year, the Mikkian were a player choice for the Star Wars: Uprising mobile ap
The other choice, Mirialan, have already seen print in the F+D Core rules. As noted force sensitive species, perhaps we'll see the Mikkian in an upcoming F+D Career supplement...
I wonder how serious 'Force sensitivity' is taken for F+D supplements. Gungans were featured in the F+D series, while not being known for this trait. Are we to make Gungan Force-users? I think they would have made better Colonists/Performers.
Sorry if this is off-topic, but is there a place that sorts species according to good stats, dump stats, bonus skills, etc.? The list grows ever larger and I can't remember all of it anymore.
I have all published species placed into an excel spreadsheet. From there I can sort and filter as I need. I recommend you do the same.
there's no official source that does this. Which is largely because once you have the crunch of the species, there's less of a reason to purchase the book in which the species appears.
Actually, if you look at earlier posts in this thread, I believe you will find at least one or two examples of links to spreadsheets that have this kind of information.
I know I have a Google Docs spreadsheet that I’ve been working on that also has this kind of information. See https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VkpsNupDCbKkVxPxuP5H7adHu7y-m9gmP6Nifgm2s0E/edit?usp=sharing

I did say official.
I would love to see a species book that has just all the species options.
I know it wont happen but it would just save having to carry many books around. As it is you have 3 core books to carry round plus any splat books you need. Having one book with all the species in it would be very helpful and one with alot of the adversaries too.
Maybe this is just me cause with D&D 5e I only have 3 books to carry round and it would be nice to have less books to carry with FFG SW lol.

I only carry one book with me. The core. The rest I don't need at any given gaming session. When I GM I prepare in advance and grab what I need from the books before game. As a player I rarely need anything more than the core if that during game.
Added the species from Forged in Battle.
Hopefully I wasn't being trolled.
Is it Kyuzu or Kyuzo, kaosoe?

Thank you for the spell check. I'll edit the post.
Cheers
Went ahead and added Muun and Pantoran to the list as well as updated the Gand.
