Art and maps from the books?

By tro1984, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

I'm working to put Onslaught at Arda I into Realm Works as the start of my campaign, and I was hoping to include the artwork in it, as well as possibly using some of the maps in something like Roll20.net.

Is this stuff available online, or is there a PDF version of it that can be purchased? My google fu is failing me it seems.

There is not and never will be a PDF version of the books. Lucasfilm's electronic licensing practices has seen to that.

For art, your best bet is to go to the individual artists' websites and see if they have some of it up as samples, or else scan in the art bits yourself. Finding it any other way is based purely on luck and whether or not anyone else has done the same thing.

I was afraid that'd be the case.

That's amazing, how did you end up finding them?

Googled the artist's names until I found the stuff I was looking for. Unfortunatly, the only other thing I found was 1 drawing of Sentenna.

you can usually find the art online by googling for the images.

What art online is useable? I don't want to "steal" art from someone's website without permission. Why I'm asking is I want to use art for my modules/adventures I create. I know this thread is about a specific adventure but I'm thinking in general terms.

Is wookiepedia useable?

Ideas...suggestions?

Thanks.

The lack of PDF's drive me crazy. I realize it's not FFG's fault but I'm visually impaired and have a terrible time reading their books. I'd kill (or pay 20 bucks) for a PDF that I can magnify or swap into high contrast mode.

On a related note, if they can't do PDF's, how about a font that doesn't blow. Their font is thin and not black font and is really tough for me to read. They're the only gaming system that gives me this much grief, because of their terrible font.

Sorry, off topic rant. I'll stop.

Oh, by all means. Back before I moved careers I was a graphic artist specialising in typography and I got into it because my dad has the same issue with being visually impaired and loved to read.

Generally typography in RPG's suck pretty hard, actually FFG's layouts suck, their grids are all over the place.
