EoTE and AoR

Has anyone come across any guidelines for merging EoTE and AoR and managing duty and obligation? And I suppose with the new beta there will be another system to contend with also.

I was considering using obligation and duty side by side with a character possibly having a mix of both - consider Han Solo - he started out with obligation and then later developed a sense of duty albeit grudgingly.

There are guidelines for doing it in the Age of Rebellion core rulebook.

No need to merge. You can track them both, they do not conflict. I'd pick one for chargen, just to keep the source of any extra XP or money separate, but after that open it up to both. Han didn't lose his Obligation when he gained his Duty.

There is a section in the book as stated. It offers suggestions on when to use what.

The main failing of Force and Destiny is it has ZERO info on integration with AoR and EotE in its current form. Hopefully when that book is "released" and out of beta, they clean that error up and give clear explanation on when/where to use morality and how to integrate it so you don't need 3 different charts of numbers to roll against.

While most of the integration is obvious there have been heated debates here and on reddit about the Morality mechanic (the Force and Destiny "rolling" mechanic).

I don't believe the AOR beta contained the stuff about merging with EOTE either. I'm sure the finished product of Force and Destiny will address the subject.

The AoR Beta book did not contain the info. However, during the beta testing the info was added into the beta updates. Though I can't say for certain how much it changed from those updates to the final product.
