Shadow of the Broker, Modular Campaign

By verdantsf, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Bummer on the timing; I'll have to sit this one out.

For those interested, these adventures have been a blast, but you need to sign-up quick because they're also becoming very popular!

Are you going to be posting Shadow of the Broker V material as well? I have had a blast watching these and hope to be able to run them for a future group. Cheers!

Thanks KiY! Yup, The Quarantine Quandary will be posted, but Maveritchell, the co-GM, is working on the layout so that it has the snazzy formatting of his other adventures. We also had a lot of editing to do, which has added to the delay. Even with all the prep work we did beforehand, having an adventure with 2 teams of six on the map required a lot of post-session streamlining. Still, we had a great time. I'm glad you're having fun watching them, as well!

Here's the special, 12-PC Halloween adventure, cleaned up and whipped into shape, thanks to co-GM Peter "Maveritchell" Thompson!

The Quarantine Quandary

It doesn’t appear to be possible to download this without signing into Google Drive.

Do you have another option for making this available to people?

That's odd. I just tried it in Chrome and Firefox without logging in, and it worked fine. Regardless, I'll get a copy up on dropbox :).

It’s entirely possible that you might have cookies stored from previous logins, thus allowing them to identify you without having to do an explicit login.

Try wiping all your cookies, both temporary and permanent, including the Flash evercookies, etc….

Thanks!

Absolutely love this series. :-D I'm currently listening to "XI: Saber's Edge, Part I". #ChimChimFanClub

I agree, I've learned a lot from watching the videos and following along with the sessions. Great stuff!

I've learned that there's nothing more exceptionally awesome than the image of an Ewok pirate captain commanding a Star Destroyer. ^_^

Wow great necro thread :P

Most of the published fan adventures are really good, and influanced my encounter construction a lot, and apeared twice or more in sessions.

ChimChim is great, but I heart Balkan(sp)!

Thanks, all! I did a double take when I saw this thread pop up again!

Would any of the players consent to sharing their stats? I'm very interested to see how each of them is built using the mechanics.

I have a couple characters, but my play is intermittent. I play as Tortie, a Duros Smuggler; and Pakbatt, a Dressellian Sharpshooter. I played as Tortie back when the campaign first started and through the first 10-15 or so missions. Then real life got in the way and I took around 7 months off, resuming in July. I started using Pakbatt in September.

Would love to see their stats! :-)

Not all the adventures are published, correct? I have found a few that I do like a lot, and I would like to read even more of those. Great ideas to help build our own, or simply play them!

Well, I know what I'm going to be doing at work next week.

Correct. We're now at SotB 108, but only about 2 dozen missions have been written up. I used to really get on the other GMs about writing their missions up ;). However, we've been playing weekly since September 2014, so just getting things together for every session is already a significant commitment. I know that for myself, putting together a full module is easily over double the work. Glad that ones we've released have helped, though!
