What do you think abaut:
Academy pilot x10 (120 points);
Alpha Squadron pilot x10 (180 points).
Total: 20 ships.

Edited by ErnyThe time to set dials.....eesh no thanks. But I wouldn't mind seeing it set up ready to go.
12 sigma phantoms would be pretty rough. 12 4 dice shots would hurt a lot. Almost as many attack die and only 12 ships.
ow.
I vote for 12 sigmas though. Effing amazing.

Except that those numbers are for ten ships each. 12 academies is 144 points and 12 alphas is 216. 360 Points.
Ups. My mistake! Thanks!

Almost an autowin if your opponent runs an huge ship, because FFG messed up the rules for huge ships in that dogfight environment.
I destroyed (not just crippled) a CR90 in 2 turns with only 6 interceptors (my other ships kept his escort busy).
Wow that list looks leathel!
Assault missiles, ho!
That's the same number of attack dice as 25 APs but 15 fewer hull and 15 fewer agility dice (25 APs is 50 attack dice, 75 agility dice, and 75 hit points).
I'd be more interested in seeing 25 Z95s (granted that will cost you a whopping $375!). That's 100 hit points (50 of which are shields), 50 agility dice, and 50 attack dice. The interesting trade off is 33% more hit points for 33% fewer agility dice (which only roll an evade 3/8 of the time anyway).
Technically is there ever really a zerg rush?
Everyone gets to have the same number of points out at the same time. If there were ships that took time to even spawn on the area of play, yes that would be zerging.
Swarming yes, Zerging not so much.
