Corran EPT/SE Help

So the list i've been running:

Corran Horn with R2-D2, FCS, and Predator.

Dutch Vander with Ion Turret, R5-K6

Gold Squadron with Ion Turret and R3-A2

Now its doing quite well for me, and when i finally stop careening my guys into each other and costing myself tournaments (I have like 12 games under my belt, and am becoming renowned for my self bumping ability at my FLGS) things should shape up nicely. I have been noticing in my last couple games that FCS and Predator seemed... too much of a good thing? What with not being able to reroll the dice after using one or the other. Am i playing it too safe and should swap something out, like Outmanuever, or should i leave it as is?

Yeah, there's a bit of redundancy on Corran with Predator/FCS. It's worthwhile noting that Predator works on everything while limiting re-rolls, while FCS works only on one target at a time - and only a target you've already shot at.

A straight like-for-like swap on Corran would be Predator for Marksmanship, which increases your odds of scoring crits and works on more than one shot per turn, ideal for Corran in other words.

It's also worth looking at Shield Upgrade on Corran - combining that with R2D2 and double-tapping one turn/evading the next can make him pretty tanky as well.

Change that predator to a ptl IMO. Don't have to adjust anything else that way. And it makes him beastly-survivable.

Change Predator to Marksmanship, when you're going to use his ability it flips the dice for both attack rolls so your second attack is effectively TL+Focus

I like that squad kelvan! I would personally use wedge instead because he'spre of a threat target. Takes some heat off Corran

I agree with the above posters. Marksmanship makes Corran do even more damage, or PTL for flexibility and extra tankiness.

You could also probably drop R5-K6 if you need to squeeze in a few extra points.

I appreciate it. in 3 ship lists I usually want ships that are hard to kill. Wedge tends to die seconds after ship placement.

I almost always pick PTL on ships that can focus/evade.

I know it isn't commonly seen but I think Opportunist works very well on Corran. In his end phase shot most ships will have no tokens left from the bout they just had, so having that extra dice can help. Opportunist, FCS, and R2-D2 is the build I would take.

Tactician on a CR90 messes up attacking squadrons.

what about

PTL, Sensor Jammer, R2D2, stealth device

That would be pretty hard to take down

Not really interested in changing the Y-wings although i could drop R5-K6 off of Dutch. Im primarily looking at upping the killiness of Corran, as hes the primary firepower in my list, so PTL is a bit low on my radar since it mostly helps with his survival, and when my Corran gets hammered its because i put him in a dumb place to begin with.

That being said I'll put Marksmanship on him for know. I have a couple League matches to do tomorrow, see how it works.

Agree with tiedefender sensor jammer is good on Corran but shield upgrade instead of stealth if your opponent leaves him to last (like I did twice) they won't be able to kill him easily
