DICE BAGS!!!
Yeah, they're already for sale at MinatureMarket.
meh
no idea what type of material is. I really have been gaming so long I upgraded to imitation leather bags.
They were on sale yesterday at CSI.
I think they said they're just felt or some such. Not really fancy, but they have the right emblems plastered all over 'em, so I've already ordered one.
I'm still using the leather bag I bought ages ago. You can now see some holes in the leather when all the dice are removed (the joys of a full bag of sharp pointy dice), but none of the seams have come undone. I don't care for the newer leather bags that are basically a circle that is cinched at the edges to close it as it ends up with a lot of volume that can't be used for anything since the folds tighten together there, meaning I'd need a bag 2 to 3 times the current size to hold my dice.
These are just felt with a logo. Ok looking, but I'll stick to something proven durable (animal hide from 4 billion years of evolution).
My tablet is my dice bag.
My wife makes mine using cotton Star Wars themed fabric and 325 lb. paracord. She just recently got some cool glow-in-the-dark Star Wars fabric that will soon be made into dice bags as well.
I'm not a big fan of the material used by the ones made by FFG.
I had actually thought of making a reversible dice bag myself with the Rebel logo on one side and the Imperial logo on the other. If you sewed the medallions in the same place it would probably be pretty good looking. Unfortunately I don't have access to a sewing machine anymore and doing it by hand would be too labor intensive.
My local store stocked these and I picked one up this weekend. Just regular felt with the logo. Its essentially my first dice bag. I'm a brand new player and figured it fit better than anything else the local store had. Plenty of room for the 3 sets of dice I bought with it.

I have a whole box full of these bags. I think I have an RPG problem.
I could quit at any time!

I've had mine as a steady bag for about ten years. Replaced it (and my DragonDice bag) with a chainmaille bag a friend made for me.
Had to break out something else after getting 4 sets of EotE dice, so this one has come out of retirement :-D
Personally, I think All Rolled Ups are cool and they do have Star Wars-themed ones. They go above and beyond the call bagginess.

That's an expensive bag since I'd just throw away the whiskey.
I just picked up a couple today, and I have to say I am a little disappointed in the material.
I'm going to try them out, but I think it's kinda thin and doesn't feel very strong.

I have one of those! In fact, I think I might've been your first customer.
When those glow-in-the-dark bags happen, please let me know - I think I might be in for one of those, as well!
I store my SW dice in a small box that my daughter got me for Christmas a couple years ago. It had candy in it and says Star Wars with a Darth Vader head on it.

"You can't make a silk purse from a sows ear, but Crown Royal bags are cooler for keeping dice in, anyway."
Oh, and make sure to 'gift' your GM with the Stormtrooper dice bag. Hey, its well known that Stormtroopers can't hit a **** thing, and neither do their dice rolls.
... a small box that my daughter ... it ... says Star Wars ...
You have a TALKING dice box??? How cool is that?!?!?

Sounds like you're the one with the issue.
I just noticed the one I bought has a hole in it! The stitching didn't make it all the way down in the one corner. Its not big enough for a die to fit through yet, but I'm sure over time it will worsen. There isn't a lot of extra thread hanging off, so I don't think it came undone, it simply was never there to begin with. I'm going to see if the game store I got it from will exchange it for me.
If not, I may have a friend repair it. She has a sewing machine and has decent skills.
My nephew bought one when we went to Rebellion Day. It's basically some sort of plastic or thin vinyl with fuzzy stuff on the outside. It doesn't look like they're meant to last.
If I had a choice, I'd probably go with the ones Yoshi's wife makes.

Yep, disappointing. I have three cloth bags which are good felt and feel very strong. These new ones don't feel durable at all.
