I see a few speculations in other threads, but let's just get it out here all in one thread. What have people heard, or speculate, or think will happen? Do you think Wave 5 will be out early enough to be legal for FFG Worlds? Fire away!

Aren't many sites listing 9/25?

Then again, I don't think I'm using any of the upgrade cards from that box anyways (will be playing Imperial).

It was a sarcastic stab at the delay with Rebel Aces, and while yes some sites are saying 25 sep it's entierly possible it will be early october which of course pushes wave 5 back even further...i'm just being bitter as i would like to get my hands on them and due to massive geographical dislocation between myself and gencon (not to mention the cost involved) i've not been able to.

I hear ya! I'm glad I'm not a frequent Rebel player, but even then, I've been wanting to try out more A-Wings and have had to proxy them and borrow the model from friends (since I'm waiting for Rebel Aces to get my 2nd A-Wing and 3rd B-Wing).

For me it's all the Imperial goodies in Wave 5 that makes me impatient.

Last year Wave 3 was available at GenCon, then hit the general public (or at least my area) the 1st week in October and legal for Worlds. This year Rebel Aces and Wave 5 were at GenCon. I think we will see about the same thing - both products available late September/early October and legal for Worlds. Hell - when Wave 4 hit, it was immediately legal for Regionals. I think as long as Rebel Aces and Wave 5 are released before November 5th, you will see them in use at Worlds this year.
