I never understood why when an hero finds a treasure all the heroes get a treasure. I think it works out better when just one hero reveives a treasure and besides it's much more realistic this way.
Or am I playing it wrong this way?

Common sense would dictate but...
Once one hero finds a treasure all heroes get a treasure card as well from that treasure.
When the first Overlord saw this (heroes taking hsi treasures) occuring in his dungeon of Mass Mutilation all he could say was...
"They're after me lucky charms!"
Well, I think that would a very selfish Hero if he/she keeps all the treasure from the giant chest. With all the games I have played, mainly video game RPGs, yes one hero opens the chest but the others are also allowed to rifle through the contents to get what they may want. You are very limited in Descent, in fact you get the luck of the draw for your treasure but then again you may go to town and purchase new said treasures from that deck once that chest is open.
Would you like an exhaustive list of all the things that are unrealistic about Descent?
Even if you do, you won't get it becauase the list is too long.
