Each has its use.. plain jane squint is for your standard int .. blood stripes are for Turr, and Fel amd the other pilots of the 181st..

I'm not a huge fan of the royals, but if I run a couple I have them... they make a nice escort for the shuttle too.

I've got two of each livery: Fel and Phennir get the bloodstripes, Cowall and Lorrir get the standards, and Jax and Carnor get the reds.

Fel's Wrath isn't allowed in the cockpit.

Ditto! But Fel and Phennir don't get their Blood Stripes until they've made their 10 in game kills.

Soontir Fel and Turr Phennir are my two favorite pilots in my favorite ship. I would be stoked to get the alternate art.

suped up soontir fel is my favorite, so the squint expansion is a must, phenir is not a slouch either and can dance like a crazy asian to dubstep

If you can wait for your store championship you can get Soontir that way, and at some point Turr will probably get an alternate art as well

Alternative art cards may be nice but they would still be useless unless you have the piece that goes on the base.

As repeatedly noted the reason you get an Interceptor Expansion is so you can get the pilots that are in it but not in Aces. Those are mostly the top two aces (Turr and Fel) but occasionally for the Alpha or Avenger if you wanted to power up a swarm a little bit.

I forgot about the cardboard base token, and I'm torn about the alternate art cards personally I love to have them but do I actually use them and risk something happening to them. (Sleeves are a potential solution but even they cannot account for every possibility)

The PS1 3 and 4 ints are for the crazy and the fun. They're totally not worth it. But they're SOOOO fun. Its like... a drug. High risk, high reward. High expectations: You know you gotta fly your butt off to not die.

double sleeve with a clear inner sleeve opening facing down and a good players choice or equivalent sleeve facing up. this will protect your cards from most of the hazards you would expect at a gaming table and has even saved some of my MtG rares from having a soda spilled on them.

Wedge.... best pilot in the game point for point IMO.

I never used to like either repaint. Bought Imp aces for the cards, then ended up painting my regualr squint with blood stripes so i could fly a pair of them with matching schemed.. it was easier than painting out the stripes.

I actually now prefer them with bloodstripes.

I say them.. after the dog disaster I only have one!

He's fun, but I like Turr better, barrel roll and boost after you shoot I thing is better.. (obvious PtL) but Fel has his uses.
