Why does the interceptor pack only have two upgrade cards? Is it really worth picking up if I gave access to Aces?

If you want to be able to run Alpha Squadron Pilot (the PS1 generic), Turr Phennir, or Soontir Fel, you need the Interceptor expansion pack rather than Imperial Aces.

Buy it for the pilots.. you get pilots you don't find in Aces

Well, you get Turr Phennir and Soontir Fel, at least.

One Interceptor pack and all the rest Aces

Personally, I prefer the look of the stock Interceptor to the repaints in Imperial Aces.

Why would you pick it up if you have Aces? Two reasons.

They're called Soontir Fel and Turr Phennir.

Each has its use.. plain jane squint is for your standard int .. blood stripes are for Turr, and Fel amd the other pilots of the 181st..

I'm not a huge fan of the royals, but if I run a couple I have them... they make a nice escort for the shuttle too.

He's fun, but I like Turr better, barrel roll and boost after you shoot I thing is better.. (obvious PtL) but Fel has his uses.

Fel is our bugs except he lives longer in most cases.

There are only 4 PS9 pilots in the game. The best of the best. Reason enough.

2015 Store Championships have just been announced, and it appears that instead of Ten Numb (2014 prize) it's Soontir Fel! SO STOKED!

Alternative art cards may be nice but they would still be useless unless you have the piece that goes on the base.

As repeatedly noted the reason you get an Interceptor Expansion is so you can get the pilots that are in it but not in Aces. Those are mostly the top two aces (Turr and Fel) but occasionally for the Alpha or Avenger if you wanted to power up a swarm a little bit.

I actually really like that bit of art work... there is some good Star Wars art they can draw upon.. I hope they use it all.
