Quick thought I wanted to share with everyone,

Last night I got to play some x-wing at my local gaming store and there was 3 of us and we we're limited on time. So each person got 25 points, two persons in corners one opposite center. This was highly enjoyable and we got in 2 games in 1 hour so there you go. We called it Furball and I think this would work even with 4 people in each corner. Just a thought of anyone gets stuck with an odd man out.

Team C - 1 X-wing with r2d2- winner

Round 2

Team A - phantom - winner

Team B - shuttle with ion/intel office

Team C - Hwk with title/blaster/something else I can't remember

I always thought it was a hairy furball, sounds like a fun skirmish format.

I totally freaked out thinking someone was after me when I saw this post. But that's a cool idea anyway.

We play "Hunger Games" with up to 8 players on a mat. It's a blast, the cutthroat deals that go on and the extra stuff that happens in the "House Rules" for grabbing upgrades is a blast.

Straight up furball is a riot as well.

More players = more mayhem = more fun :-)

Being from 2013, these are pre Wave IV and seem a bit broken with the TIE Phantom now in circulation. I'm sure with more players it works out better but with just 3 it become a 2 on 1 vs the Phantom and the Phantom usually wins.

Actually I think the phantom is more or less underpowered in the standard FFG 4v4 furball. Since you only have 30pts, the only phantom that can take ACD is the lvl3 Shadow, and at that point its more or less pretty bad. Or you can take Echo with no upgrades (she's not so hot without VI and ACD). There will be plenty of high level Rebel fighters, and you can be sure that they won't let a equivalent Z95 with 4 red live to shoot at PS3 or 5.

It came down to my two ties vs the x-wing with 2 hull 1 shield, i bounced one of my ties off of an asteroid and it killed him. I did Wuff a range 1 side shot which made me sad.

I think all of us have had a perfect shot we've utterly failed to roll good on, dice games man it happens.

Truth be told it came down to the x-wing and the phantom vs the 2 ties the first 2 rounds, Which I laughed at.
