One night in Bretonnia

By Emirikol, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

From tonight's session...

We don't really like a lot of clutter on the table when we play so we tried to keep it to a minimum. ;)

The plush Cthulhu represented the fear of what was behind door #2....

My Herrimault came out with only one crit and one insanity.

Ha ha. Love it! My wife would literally have a fit if I did that to our dining room table :P

That's no dining table.............

It's a Gaming table :P

I love it. Where did you get the walls etc from?

My table is far too small for it at the minute. Trying to talk the missus into a bigger table - you know, for when her dad comes over for dinner...

I have a room in the basement designated as "my area." Of course, that means "gaming." I had an old table (which was too small), so I bought at sheet of that oak plywood for $20 and cut it down to whatever the size is now (perfect size imo). Some stain and gloss and I'm good. You'll see the metal legs underneath from the old crap table we had.

The walls are the following:

* Dwarven Forge makes the top of the line dungeons - we've got the dungeon, forest, ruins, and medieval tavern walls (we use the tavern a lot for WFRP). This was our first chance to use the forest and it really made up the outside of the motte. Here's a cheaper brand from the UK: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1621774283/battle-systemstm-fantasy-dungeon-terrain

* Hobby walls (I think pegasus or one of those gaming companies..maybe conflix)

* Plaster casts of the hobby walls, etc make up some more..especially when we need

* The lichen is the typical stuff you get at the hobby store

* I made the card holders. Pizza is by Little Seizures. The dice roller boxes came from one of the local hobby shops. What's nice about the dice boxes is that they have that thin foam in the bottom so you don't have people bouncing dice all the way to Morrsleib like when you roll on a hard table.

* The clear plastic table tents that hold up the Career Sheet (with character name, etc. on top) are just made from that clear plastic that everything seems to be packed in nowadays.

I've shown this pic before, but here's the medieval building set put together as a tavern in THE ENEMY WITHIN 2.

looks nice!

Looks awesome. I saw a fantastic Kickstarter a few weeks ago for one. But I couldn't justify it as we simply don't have the space for such a set up :(

I'll post up a picture of my group later.
