So about that GM sheet. Ya know, the third page on the character sheet segment. This thing is pretty amazing, guys. Specifically, the fact that it gives you a nice area to summarize all of your players and their more GM relevant stats and such. I know that you can do this with any old piece of paper, but the formatting on this sheet is well done and lets me know what is relevant without leaving me to do some guesswork about what to record.
With that said, I think the inquisitor should be its very own sheet (with the subtly track on the side), kind of like how your ship had its own sheet in Rogue Trader. This would allow for more detail on the nature of the inquisitor and notes about what he can and cannot do for the players, and maybe some stats should he ever have to get involved directly. I also think that it would be nice to have a place to record the wounds and hits of the players.
I really hope that FFG continues to work on this GM sheet, because it's pretty helpful already and could be even better. The differences between the squad sheet in Only War and the one from Dark Heresy 2 go to show that it's definitely worth working on. I doubt any other company would learn about this, sadly. I mean, Dungeons and Dragons has refused to learn anything about roleplay gaming since the 80's, so I think I'm going to have to start creating my own based on this model.
