This sub could use a sub forum for off topic discussion.

No. Every board I've seen with OT forums, it entirely devolves into politcal flame wars. It's just a terrible, terrible idea.

I want a sub-forum for all the people who keep arguing. Joe Boss, WonderWaagh, and all the rest of them. I've got no idea who started it, but the moment a thread goes there, it just gets disappeared to the sub-forum, sent to the cornfield as if by the hand of little Billy Mumy:

It never just sticks to the OT forum though. Flame wars start there, and grow, then spill over to the rest of the board to the point that the need for multiple, and near constant, admin oversight is needed.

Yeah, it would rely on moderation, but if it was just having your conversations sent elsewhere rather than banning and that sort of thing maybe it would curtail some of this without excluding people from the forums? I'd like to say the lower stakes would make people get less mad, but that's probably as likely as Marek in a winning list at worlds. It's just getting pretty obnoxious lately. It's starting to feel like the Attack Wing forums...

Not until we get a TIE Advanced Appreciation sub-forum.
