Hey guys

So i got my hands on forgotten soul, have read the rules and have a question

At some pionts you can make an exploration, even with an active exploration card, meaning two cards are in play, what happens? The new one is active, the rules say, but what happens with the old one?

How many xp do you get for main encounters, one xp per hero per main quest?


Also, what with familiars, do the monsters attack them when it says attack closest hero?

The rules state that "A hero cannot open a door if there is an active exploration card." So a hero cannot perform an explore action until the previous exploration card has been completed and discarded. (page 5, left column, near bottom)

XP rewards are clearly stated on the exploration cards for the main encounters.

The rules state that "When an Activation card refers to a "hero," this includes figures treated as hero figures." If a familiar is treated as a hero figure, like the reanimate or wolf, that familiar is a valid target for monster Activation card actions. (page 7, left column, near bottom)

The rule book did not come with the co-op adventure. You have to download the pdf from Fantasy Flight.

Here is the link . Read the rules carefully if you want your game sessions to go smooth and quick.
