You could dump the 4th stress by having taken a green maneuver maybe? No idea what exactly he was thinking.

I guess that could get one up to dumping 4 stress although it sure looks like the idea was dumping 4 stress through something other than the standard method. Having a bunch of "Wingmen" I believe could pull a lot of stress off of a ship if they are all close enough.

I actually think the bigger question is how exactly you stacked up 4 stress in the first place. Because unless you've got a Hobbie/Stressbot combo firing Failsafe Flechettes at you, I don't see a realistic way to build up that many. Not on a B-wing, anyway.
