Seen it around in a few places before. Wish it was sooner.

If you read through the StarWars.com site updates, you'll see them pimping FFG's Star Wars Role Playing game A LOT.

I'd be a bit surprised if that wasn't part of the contract FFG has with LucasFilm/Disney (basically 'free advertising' in this area to help provide more value to the undoubtedly-very-high cost of the license).

That said, this is the first time I can recall seeing an X-Wing release specifically mentioned - usually, it's just the RPG or LCG products that get the attention.

Still, good news that it is indeed the time that it will be out for sure! Even if they haven't moved it from the boat >.>

So what does that mean for Wave 5?

Probably gunna be closer to Christmas. Don't see Wave 5 making Q3 if Rebel Aces is Sep 25 and they are still in the factory.

But FFG could surprise us (fingers crossed)

that was a long way to go for a release date.

That post also describes the roleplaying game Adversary Decks as being released on September 5th and the Force and Destiny beta as being released on the 8th. Neither of those happened, both products are still at least a week or two away from being in stores yet.
