Hi, I want to repaint and convert my Tie-fighters and need your help. I am not interested to only use "the" original Star Wars background.

I search for fresh and new ideas to have some unique shipps!

I converted some Ties with marks by war (holes from shoots, destroyed Wings,...). The coloursheme could be a cold blue and violet for the shades with long colourtransitions. I do not want the soo often seen "blood stripes" I plan using markings in light blue and light yellow. Maybe a stripe broken by a dot: -- •--. Do you have any fresh and new ideas to help me?

I love what I've seen of your work and very much look forward to seeing what you come up with.

I must say though, keeping the battle damage to a minimum I think is the best look for Imperial ships.

They are too well funded to be flying damaged equipment, for the most part.

I've seen a few done with vertical stripes and a few with chevrons (^). I think the light blue would be good, but not so sure about the yellow. Yellow stripes on black wings just says bumble bee.

Battle damage on a TIE-fighter is about as common a sight as worn plastic cutlery. The slightest stress destroys them and when that happens you just take another one from the package.

old school emperors children pink and gold... tasteful that.

Gloss black with mid grey edge highlights

Keep the panels matt black/dark grey

Use a boltgun-ish silver to edge cockpit glass or change glass to gloss dark dark red

Copy blood stripes but use either white for a monochromatic look or a silver.

Top it off with a matching Tie Advance...

I've thought that a pink/glitter TIE would be great for Howlrunner. She would love that!!!

My imperials are all imperial guard red--like the interceptors.

White paneling with black supports and with red cockpit and highlights.
