Binding and creaking book

By Carnor Jax, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

Hi guys, just jumped over from Dark Heresy second ed forum where I and a few others are having issues with the binding and cover creaking . Well, I just picked up a new copy of Age of Rebellion today and it's doing exactly the same as dark heresy - any one else got these issues ?

Nope. My DH2 book is falling apart, but I've had no problems with any of my Star Wars books (including my Edge Core Rulebook that's seen heavy use).

Ironically, my Edge CRB has started showing signs of falling apart.

But then, I have had it longer than any of the others, and it has probably seen more abuse.

So, maybe that’s not so ironic after all.

My EoE core book started to split in the binding. I've used to superglue to keep it from getting worse, and I'm using my AoR core for rules referencing now.

My EotE book is starting to show some wear-and-tear. But I haven't been very caring to it over this past year. The book is still intact, it's just not not as sturdy as it was.

With only a month of use my EotE core rulebook has separated the binding from the outer cover. It's currently held together by two pieces of paper (the first and last pages) that are glued to the cover. The quality inside the book is wonderful in terms of layout, art, and text. However, the binding needs work.

You should definitely let FFG know. if only so they work on better covers in the future. They don't read here so send this info to customer service.

Mine is still intact, but its pages are trying to break free.

Mentioning what its like where you live might be important. I didn't have binding issues with books until I moved to the desert southwest. Now books don't last more then 2-3 years with constant use.
