Almost OHKO'd a firespray with a lucky Adv Torp. Someone knocked off a couple shields, then the torp threw in two Direct Hits to finish it.

If you can roll # of attack dice = hull + shields you can one shot it.

So there are way to one shot a Tie Bomber or Defender.

Technically, you can do it with less. I mean, you could launch the 7-dice attack and pull nothing but Direct Hit crits. It's incredibly unlikely, but remotely possible.

I had a game about a month ago first three crits I pulled were all direct hits and I'd shuffled the deck before the game, same match I rolled eight blanks in one phase losing Vader and having rexler reduced to one hit point, I did something to anger the dice gods.

I had Soontir Fel take out a Red Squadron Pilot with Crit (Direct) Hit Hit Hit to their Blank Blank and a direct at Range 1 once. I've also been on the receiving end: Wedge tried to joust a Rhymer APT and that ended just great for him.

My teammate n a team epic game one shotted wedge with a sigma at range one.

Also, at Worlds, round 4, I was able to kill wedge WITHOUT attacking him a single time. Two proton bombs hit him, one was a direct hit.

Slightly off topic, I've one shotted Darth Vader with a Y-Wing using a proton torp at Range 2.

I had Rexler Brath blow away Biggs just yesterday. Of course, he was then punched on by Wedge and Garven and never made his points back, but by killing one X-Wing and engaging two, he gave Soontir and the White Space Rhino the time to move in for the kill.
