Hells, yeah. Not sure I'm a fan of the solid red one, but **** that one with the stripe is a stroke of genius and looks absolutely stunning! Nicely done, sir!

Thanks!
I've got three more to do, I have to decide if I'm just doing three basic ones or if I continue to make them all different (TIE/fo, maybe Lambda and a blue-grey one, or a decloaking Phantom one...)

Yes, the dials come with the ship symbols from Waves 1 through 7. Starting with Wave 8, the ships will come with the symbols for the dial upgrades.
HWK-909Q QUATTRO
BASE SHIP – HWK-290
MODIFIED SHIP STATISTICS
Firepower – 4
Firing Arc - 360
Additional Maneuver - Green 5 Straight
The Marvo Dishogan & Honda Ohnaka “partnership” was dynamic at best. Dishogan wanted to pulverize the Imperial Navy out of vengeance, while Ohnaka wanted to seize as many Imperial assets as possible. The compromise was another modified HWK-290; THE HWK-909Q Quattro . This clean-up assault support ship was designed to enter a combat field after an assured Dishogan/ Ohnaka raid to fly escort over captured assets. The Quattro would neutralize any final efforts of resistance with efficiency & effectiveness. Cargo area was traded for a 3rd crew member as gunner, who manned a 360 Alternating Ion-Laser Cannon. A Dual Plasma Cannon was housed under the left wing, and a Dual Short Burst Gun under the right. Two additional Combat Thrusters assisted pouncing on any unwanted surprises.
You've already seen these, just trying out my new lightbox!
Hey folks. Bout time I posted something here, I'm currently working on a prison break scenario for X-Wing. There’s going to be Imperial walkers, turbo lasers and shrubbery. Got the first piece I need painted a micro machines AT-ST, surprised how decent a cheap plastic toy looks once given a lick of paint and based. Now I just need the rest to turn up in the post
A SHRUBBERY...IN...SPAAAAAAACE!

The Imperial ground defences expand, the AT-AT's not turned up yet though, clocks ticking until I need to run the game
Yay at last the AT-AT turned up and was promptly attacked by a paint brush.

A few people tried to shout me out of the room when I showed the work I am doing to do what you are doing here... they said that my models are to big. They did not watch the films I did then, and they have never seen the new art from Battle Front and other new cannon goodies.
I like what you are doing. This is me just being kinda silly and kidding with you.

No worries
Thats the Action Fleet AT-AT isn’t it? Was my first choice, but man those things can go for silly money on UK ebay, but its an impressive beast. The black Series was a nice compromise on scale and price.
Awesome blog, land battles with infantry is something I want to bring into the game too. Not sure on the rules I'll give infantry, a furious Rum and beard stroking session will be required.
HWK-909M MESSENGER
BASE SHIP – HWK-290
MODIFIED SHIP STATISTICS:
Firepower – 3
Modified Maneuvers - Green 5 Straight (x2), Green 4 Straight (x2), Green 3 Straight/Turn, Green 2 Straight, White 2 Straight/Turn, Red 1 Bank
Additional Action Bar – Jam
Marvo Dishogan agreed with Hondo Ohnaka to develop a predatory, 2nd attack wave ship, mostly to psychologically frustrate the Imperial Navy’s rigid and defensive postures. Another HWK-290 was modded for unmatched hit and fade capabilities. A reprogrammed signal jammer would send chatter signals that semi-masked its’ very distant hold position. Swift, secondary attacks were executed after diversionary 1st wave attacks. This was made possible by 2 cargo pods retrofitted to dump Nitro grade Tibanna gas to 3 additional Combat Thrusters; after the 1st wave of Dishogan/ Ohnaka raiders revealed enemy positioning. The unaccounted for Messenger squads would then enter the battle to effectively counter and finish the Empire’s responses.
HWK-909D DRAGONFLY
BASE SHIP – HWK-290
MODIFIED SHIP STATISTICS:
Agility - 4
Modified Maneuvers - Green 3 Straight/Turn/Bank, Green 2 Straight/Turn/Bank, Green 1 Straight/Turn/Bank,
Action Bar – Evade, Barrel Roll, Cloak, Jam [All enemy ships within Range 3 lose 3 Agility]
Wary of facing Imperial swarms against smaller raider packs, Marvo Dishogan reprogrammed Sienar jamming technology to partially control his opponents’ control & evasive capabilities. This tech was fitted on another modded HWK-290 with retractable wings to allow unbelievable maneuverability. The Dragonfly was a very expensive investment as it was also coupled with cloaking tech to additionally serve as a brazen close quarter reconnaissance vessel before sending in the rest of the Dishogan/ Ohnaka raiders.
HWK-909T MILLENIUM TALON
BASE SHIP – HWK-290
MODIFIED SHIP STATISTICS
Firepower – 4
MODIFIED SYNERGISTIC SHIP STATISTICS (docked to Millenium Falcon)
Firepower – 6
Agility – 2
Hull – 9
Shields – 10
Additional Maneuver - Green 5 Straight (x2), White 5 K-Turn, White 2 K-Turn
Modified Maneuvers - Green 4 Straight (x2), White 4 K-Turn, Green 3 Straight/Turn/Bank, White 3 K-Turn
Special Rule - If destroyed, all ships within Range 3 suffer 2 Damage.
The rarest modded HWK-290, the HWK-909T, otherwise known as the Millenium Talon was retrofitted with 2 front-mounted stationary Alternating Ion-Laser Cannons. Further, a top-mounted cargo pod would feed plenty of small homing missiles. Honda Ohnaka had previously raided the Corellian Engineering Corp’s prototype fleet of Mini Rigs that could dock into a YT-1300. Most of the ships needed work, but Marvo Dishogan further hybridized the HWK-909T with a Shield Amplifying Mini Rig. Once docked into the Millenium Falcon specifically, the synergized Talon would super-conduct 6 additional cargo pods of enriched Tibanna Gas to boost the shields to at least double, as well as doubling the straightaway capacity. Of course, Ohnaka had to “borrow” the Falcon from Han Solo which was accomplished by underhanded gambling.
GUN SHUTTLE – SILVER FOX & WHITE FOX SQUADRONS
BASE SHIP – Lambda Shuttle
MODIFIED SHIP STATISTICS
Firepower – 4
Hull - 8
Firing Arc – 360
Special Rule - If destroyed, all ships within Range 3 suffer 1 Damage.
The Empire responded to the Dishogan/ Ohnaka raids by “hiring” Garginoolaara to modify Imperial ships to destroy the raiders with extreme prejudice. The Imperial Navy enlisted elite flight staff for the Silver Fox and White Fox Squadrons. The first wave of modded ships used a base Lambda Class Shuttles, converted to Gun Shuttles. The crew compartment area was reduced to seat Imperial Ship Gunners to man multiple cannons and fire a battery of small homing missiles, while a thicker hull was overlayed for battle endurance. The hull was also needed to protect the gunner compartment, as seats were replaced with explosive tibanna tanks that powered the multiple guns. Star Destroyers began to carry more Gun Shuttles after discouraging Dishogan/ Ohnaka raids. Vibrant red markings, especially to the additional guns were done as a warning to the raiders the Empire meant business. They were so successful that they were used for close escort for slower moving bombers.

There is a new version of the model from Dat Mouse ... it is what I would use also, if I had not already got the classic versions. Both the old and new are great IMO.
I might grab one of these new kids myself for the Black Legion. The old ones could then be regular critters.
