And my Decimator was awarded its blood stripes after achieving its 10th kill.

That looks...ominous. I like it.

I love that X-Wing! Any other angles on that A-Wing?

I'm wondering where you got your Nova Squadron pattern from?

Hi guys,

This is my custom Death Star Trench. I used four cardboard boxes for the four main sections. The emplacements and the shield generator are also made entirely of cardboard and some balsa wood. The only plastic is in the barrels of the cannons.

If anyone wants to know how I made anything, please comment

I am still working on rules and cards for these.

Finally got around to finishing up my Tycho A wing... It's been sitting idle for a few months as I've been working on other projects (Namely tearing apart the CR-90 and wiring it up) and I haven't had that much time to mess around anyways.

And here it is flying along side of Tycho's X Wing.

Little touch up of the outrider and Decimator

Before the tickle over, pretty boring stock colours

OutriderampDecimatorbefore_zps5ebb10bf.j

After, not strictly a re-paint, just a little colour to the edges of panels, and that is pretty much it, quick and simple!

Bulldog, how did you mount the bearing on those two. I'm probably doing mine this way as well and would like to see your solution. If you don't mind...

Bad phone pic of a ten min job on a phantom 'cloaking' , it looks ten times better than this in real life but my iphone decided to focus on the phantom behind it which is annoyingly crystal clear!

I'll put up better pics when i can find my upload cable for my proper camera

Probably you already know this, but here it goes anyway; you can manipulate where the iPhone focuses, just touch the screen on the area where you want it to focus, I usually take all my minis pics with my iPhone and it has very good camara

I didnt know that but cheers, i'll muck about with it.

the problem i have with mine is i work outdoors a lot so my phone (its a 5s) is in a shockproof plastic case with a rubber coating over it and a secondary screen cover in quite thick plastic. tocuh screen still works but you lose a bit of sensitivity and clarity when viewing things but its better than droppin it in a bog or down a rock face :)

My latest repaint.

So my YT-2400 was partially inspired by Smashotron's on here, and tonight I realized that we both live in the same area! Small world innit?

Love the green, in my mind the white is a little too... clean/not showing the shadows enough?

I love that olive drab YT-2400 with the D-Day invasion stripes (I know that's not what they are, but it makes me think of that). Reminds me of an old P-47 or a C-47.

Space station all painted! All set for Armada, would also work really well for Attack wing, should be available early next year after I clean up the parts and create a master mould :)

It screams 'D-day invasion stripes' and WWII Dakota or Horsa to me :)

Cool though but bordering on 'real world' to that level that i try and stay away from with 'star wars'

Same reason i've never done a camo repaint. There is precedent of camo star wars star fighters (e wings i think i've seen painted with a very 'soviet' scheme in a licenesed EU art piece ) but i think camo takes you away from that 'universe'. Flat green looks quite cool though. Just not sure about it with the invasion stripes too.

Please dont take it as negativity, you know i love your repaints , im just not too sold on this one.

Thanks for your constructive feedback Gadge. This repaint was inspired by comments from one of my Instagram followers @NickManor. It was not a commission piece, but I try to share all of my repaints here on your post as well as other various places. Joe Boss asked if I will put some Aurebesh lettering on the "Invasion Stripes". That may bring it back to the Star Wars universe.
